Standard meal kits include an entree plus snacks, with options for “ready-to-eat” or “basic heating recommended” items available. ERCC can package meals individually or create multi-meal kits of any size, such as a 3-meal kit containing breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks in one box for ease of distribution. The shelf-life of our meals can range from 4–30 months — or 3 hurricane / fire seasons (minimum numbers apply) — and lead times can be as short as 3–4 days from order placement to initial shipment(s) depending on menu requirements.
To expedite shipment times for more specialized kits with longer shelf-lives, we offer a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Program where we produce and store pre-purchased meals at our warehouse for immediate shipment upon activation.
In addition to meal kits, ERCC also offers shelf-stable pantry kits, food boxes, and snack packs — all of which are fully customizable. We invite you to visit our pages on shelf-stable menu suggestions and pantry kit menu suggestions to explore various options.
Shelf-stable meals can be stored at ERCC’s warehouse utilizing our VMI Program in which we produce meals upon order placement and house them on pallets at our warehouse to be shipped immediately upon activation. The VMI Program helps solve storage issues and allows flexibility in the end destination, as well as enables clients to have longer shelf-life meals available for shipment on short notice.
